Love this bag pattern

I love this pattern and I am working on my second bag as well speak. However, the only thing that is not clear for me is the attaching the zipper. It was a bit confusing and I wish there was a video showing this part as there was a video showing the lemon peel stitch. I tried my best to follow the instructions but mine was just not coming out right. So I am going to try something different for my second bag. I hope I can execute it. Other than that, it would be 5 stars ⭐️

I love challenges been crocheting 60 plus years, worked with all types of yarn but never macrame. Need a project for my upcoming cruise when we are at sea. Instructions are clear.
